The colored fly

This house-fly was sitting on a piece of wood on the ground. Although flies are generally perceived as non-pleasant I decided to click this one anyway. It sort of made a good composition and I was in the mood to do a macro. Later I went a step futher and post-processed it in Adobe Photoshop to give it the 'colored fly' effect. Also added some text on top and tweaked it a little more to 'wallpaper' it. The image has been desaturated; just leaving the fly colors intact.


Here's the same picture as above without any 'effects'. Not as spunky as above but looks nice nonetheless. The broken piece of wood really adds weight to the image.
